It is hard to believe that the first quarter of 2019 is almost gone! I am very excited about the progress we’ve made so far and our plans for an engaging year.
We'd like to take a moment to thank all of our annual sponsors, listed below:
JLL, AE7, Desmone Architects, First National Bank/First National Insurance Agency, Mohawk Group, BDO USA LLP, Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., DIRTT Environmental Solutions, and Hanna Langholz Wilson Ellis.
We would not be able to provide the programs that we do without our sponsors. If you'd like to see your organization represented as an annual sponsor, there's still time to be included. Please contact Bethany Addams in the Chapter Office.
Please join us for our “Outside the Office” event on March 20. This breakfast event will focus on the unique approach needed to manage industrial real estate spaces. Industrial real estate isn’t just warehouses! We’ll be talking about processing, manufacturing, and other non-office real estate. We have lined up a fantastic panel including corporate real estate leaders from Bayer Corporation, First National Bank, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. See registration link below.
Next up for the second quarter, we are actively planning a University Relations Event, and our annual summer happy hour. As we look forward to exciting programming ahead, I encourage you to get involved and determine how we can best engage you in the remainder of the year.
And just for fun, if you are looking to get more active this spring and would like to get know your fellow CoreNet members even better, consider joining our marathon relay team. I am forming a relay team for the Pittsburgh Marathon on May 5. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in joining! You’ll get bragging rights at every CoreNet event for the rest of the year!
Many thanks to Eric Bitar for his service to CoreNet Global as the Pittsburgh Chapter Programming Director in 2018. Eric’s efforts have helped to continue our purpose to connect groups of professionals, end users and service providers in order to advance knowledge, promote personal excellence, and add value to each individual and their respective enterprises. We wish Eric the best as he transitions into a new career opportunity, and we welcome Amanda Buczynski of DIRTT Environmental Solutions as our new Programming Director for the remainder of 2019. Thank you to Eric & Amanda for your engagement with CoreNet Global Pittsburgh Chapter.
CoreNet Global Pittsburgh Chapter is pleased to continue its work in 2019 with an engaged and growing Leadership Board. We encourage all members to consider a leadership role within CoreNet and to identify where your interests might lend to your increased engagement.
