Friends and colleagues,
Thank you to those who attended our November Annual Holiday Party at Penn Society. It was a wonderful time to connect and celebrate the holiday season with you, as we look forward to the year ahead. I am pleased to offer this month’s President’s Message as a review of the successes behind us and the exciting changes to come. 2017 offered excellent, content-rich programming and featured our NEW signature Pink Pong Tournament. Through your participation and generosity, we were able to raise over $1100 for A Glimmer of Hope Foundation, benefitting breast cancer research. We look forward to our partnership with A Glimmer of Hope in the new year and continuing to grow this unique event. As we anticipate all that is ahead for CoreNet Pittsburgh, I am pleased to announce that, upon completion of my term as 2017-2018 Chapter President, Robin Alexander (Bank of America), will become the new Chapter President, CoreNet Pittsburgh. Robin has previously served as Programming Director in 2017 and will transition in the year 2018 as President Elect. I am confident that Robin will continue to lead this organization in a positive direction that advances the practice of corporate real estate.
Additional Leadership Updates:
David Thor (JLL) returns as Education and University Relations Director, Tom Schneider (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) will continue his role as Treasurer, Michael Sharp (Contintental Office) returns as Sponsorship Director, John Beggy (PNC) will continue as Membership Director, and Jennifer Ewing (Civil & Environmental Consultants) continues as Board Secretary.
